Salem, OR – A 16-year-old boy from Salem has been arrested following a shooting incident in West Salem on Tuesday afternoon. The Salem Police Department responded to reports of multiple gunshots fired in the area of Northwest Elm Street and Northwest Kingwood Avenue at approximately 4:45 p.m.
According to authorities, witnesses provided descriptions of the suspect, which led officers to locate the teenager at a residence on the 1300 block of Northwest Elm Street. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement seized an altered semi-automatic rifle.
