Salem, OR – Four suspects were arrested Thursday morning in connection with an armed robbery at the Best Western Newberg Inn, located in the 2200 block of Portland Road. The incident, which occurred early Thursday, led to a swift police response after a guest at the hotel called 911 to report being robbed.
According to the Newberg-Dundee Police Department, the victim provided officers with detailed descriptions of the suspects, allowing police to act quickly. Moments later, officers pulled over a vehicle leaving the hotel that matched the descriptions given. Upon stopping the car, police discovered a firearm, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property from the robbery.
The four individuals arrested were identified as John Donnahoo, 30, Michala Brown, 31, Adrian Lambright, 34, and Emily Bojorcas, 30. The suspects were booked into the Yamhill County Jail on multiple charges, including first-degree robbery, first-degree kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree.
Donnahoo, in addition to facing the robbery-related charges, also has an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Police confirmed that at least two of the suspects were known to the victim, though authorities have not revealed the exact nature of their relationship.
While the victim was not physically injured during the robbery, the police investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather information. The quick response and arrest of the suspects are being hailed by local officials as a significant achievement in addressing crime in the area.
